So...it's OFFICIAL. Will is the new student minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus. Most of the world knows by now, but I guess here's just another way to extend the news to those who may not be as quite in the loop...but then again you're reading this blog...Anyway! We are extremely excited and overwhelmed by God's goodness and favor. We are most humbled by this opportunity and more than anything excited about calling Calvary our "church home". Will OFFICIALLY begins May 21st as he will graduate the senior class at Smiths Station Baptist. You might wonder, "Are you guys sad to leave?" It's a bittersweet symphony as one once said, as we have been entrusted with an amazing youth facility, encouraged and supported by very special families, built sweet relationships, poured into the lives of hurting students and been able to watch them grow and made awesome memories we will never forget. The experience and growth I have seen Will acquire over the last three years is immeasurable and we are sure this opportunity couldn't have happened with out it! We will be forever grateful for the opportunity we had to serve at SSBC and for God's provision through it. We have seen the Lord go before us since before we even met and it has been the most precious thing to see and experience. We are so confident in His timing and find it rather comforting, reassuring and mostly supernatural as we also announce that it's OFFICIAL....we're expecting our first child due November 21st! So...the Lord sure knows what He is doing when we have not the slightest idea what's going to happen next.
Here's to a new chapter in our lives of bliss!
